About the Event
The Vietnam International Schools Forum & Workshop will take place on Monday, 7th October 2019, in Ho Chi Minh City.
The format of the BMI International High Schools Forum & Workshops is limited to no more than 30 principals and high school counsellors, and we therefore expect to reach capacity by August 2019.
The day is packed with personal development seminars from a globally recognised speaker and private meetings with Admission Directors & senior staff from over 25 overseas colleges & universities. It is also an opportunity to network with other high school counsellors from across Vietnam.
The Vietnam International Schools Forum & Workshop is a must-attend event for gathering new insights on international education, updates on undergraduate admissions and to enhance your knowledge to support students applying overseas.
In addition, you can attend one-on-one appointments with the admissions directors and representatives from universities around the world who can update you on the latest application procedures and documentation required for international students.

This Professional Development & Training seminar series is a holistic training foundation for supporting your international applicants, no matter what the curriculum, course/major, academic achievements, successes outside the classroom, or competitive resume.
This Professional Development & Training seminar series is a holistic training foundation for supporting your international applicants, no matter what the curriculum, course/major, academic achievements, successes outside the classroom, or competitive resume.
One of the three seminars is the "Advantage of Studying in the US and Applying to a US University" by the EducationUSA Advising Center in Ho Chi Minh City. Its office is at the Public Affairs Section of the US Consulate General in the city. EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State network of over 425 international student advising centers in more than 175 countries. This seminar will be an informative presentation to provide the latest, accurate and comprehensive information about opportunities to study at accredited post secondary institutions in the US, tests required for admission, essential information to prepare your students for applying to US universities and colleges.
The other two seminars will showcase tips and tricks to effectively manage documents with the help of advanced technologies and to harness the power of your international students as they navigate the Canadian university application process.

Networking oportunities
There is a huge number of chances to meet and network with your colleagues from other high schools in Vietnam, as well as international institutions. The most important of these is the cocktail reception being held on the evening of Sunday, 6th October 2019. In addition, opportunities such as coffee breaks and lunch occur frequently throughout the event on Monday 7th October 2019.
