About the Event and why attend
The Colombia International Schools Forum and Workshop will begin on the evening of Wednesday September 27th and continue through Thursday September 28th in Bogotá.
It will follow a similar format to other BMI International High Schools Forum & Workshops and is limited to a maximum of 45 principals and high school counsellors and is therefore expected to reach capacity by the middle of June 2023.
The day is packed with expert personal development seminars from globally recognised speakers as well as private meetings with Admission Directors & senior staff from up to 35 overseas colleges & universities. It is also an opportunity to network with other high school counsellors from across Colombia.

In 2020, the seminars at the Brazil International Schools Forum and Workshop were presented by Dr. Kierstan Connors, Head of College Counselling, GEMS Education - GEMS is the largest network of private schools in the world. Dr Connors covered topics such as:

Networking oportunities
One of the most important aspects of the event is the opportunity to network with all participants. There are therefore a number of networking opportunities where you can meet your colleagues from other high schools in Colombia, as well as the international institutions, in an informal atmosphere.
The most important of these is the opening cocktail reception on the evening of Wednesday September 27th - Hotel accommodation is provided on this night - which is required attendance for all participants. There are also further opportunities during the coffee breaks and lunch on the Thursday, September 28th.
