About the Indonesian Higher Education Workshop and why attend

Run in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, the Indonesia Higher Education Workshop will take place in Jakarta and begin in the evening of Thursday November 2nd 2023 and conclude on Friday November 3rd 2023.
It will follow a similar format to other BMI International Workshops across the world. The event is a great opportunity for directors of the international offices of Indonesian Universities to have private one-to-one meetings with universities and key international organisations from across the globe to discuss areas of mutual interest and strategic partnerships. The event is limited to a maximum of 60 Indonesian universities and will begin with a welcome cocktail reception and dinner on Thursday November 2nd. Free deluxe hotel accommodation is provided for this evening (Thursday November 2nd) to all participants so you are well rested for the next day and avoid having to deal with Jakarta’s notorious rush-hour traffic. |
On the second day (Friday November 3rd), there will be a series of pre-schedule private meetings with senior staff and directors of international offices from with universities and key international organisations from across the world.

The event is only open to Directors and/or Senior staff of the international Indonesian Universities who must apply to participate. If approved, participation is free of charge and includes the following benefits:
The deadline to register for next year's event is August 30th 2023. However as the event is limited to 45 Universities from across Indonesia, we expect the event to be full by the middle of August and therefore we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

The deadline to register for next year's event is August 30th 2023. However as the event is limited to 45 Universities from across Indonesia, we expect the event to be full by the middle of August and therefore we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Accommodation
All approved Indonesian universities representatives will receive free deluxe hotel accommodation on the night of Thursday November 2nd 2023, at the Pullman Jakarta Central Park, Indonesia.
Please note that there are a limited number of hotel rooms available and are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. We therefore cannot guarantee rooms to Indonesian universities applying after August 20th 2023. Early registration is therefore recommended and we will confirm your room accommodation within 48 hours. Please note if two representatives are attending from the same university, they must share the free hotel room.

Welcome Cocktail Reception and Dinner
The Welcome cocktail reception and dinner is an important aspect of the event and will take place on the evening of Thursday November 2nd 2023. This is the perfect opportunity to meet the participating senior staff and directors of international offices from universities and colleges from across the world in a relaxed environment.
Participation Expenses which are not included
